Poster Art-Print Description:
Image of a man wearing glasses as would have been worn in the English civil war. The phot was taken in the re-enactment of the English civil war siege of Newark, England. The re-enactment marked the 360th anniversary of the 3rd and final siege of Newark, the surrender of which effectively brought about the end of the first English Civil War and victory for Parliament over King Charles 1. The living history day featured over 200 members of the English Civil War Society and friends from The Forlorn Hope, the event was organised by The Newark 1646 Group, EventPlan and Fairfax Battalia.
