This dog handler is leading a mushers's dog team to go to the start line of the 2007 Iditarod. The iditarod is a dog mushing race that starts near Anchorage and ends in Nome, Alaska covering over 1150 miles of wildernes. Temperatures can be as low as 40 below and mushers must feed and care for their dogs the entire way. The iditarod is also called the the last great race.
