Horizontal close up stock photo of Single Dahlia (family Asteraceae) Rejman's ABC, a long-stemmed magenta-pink from New Zealand. This Dahlia is classified as S R RD10, Single, Red. According to the American Dahlia Society, the bloom has a single row of flat or slightly cupped ray florets arranged in a flat plane. They uniformly overlap, preferably in the same direction with no gaps. Eight ray florets are most desirable. Disc flowers with up to three rows of pollen are desirable. A round floret tip is preferred. The bloom is about two inches in diameter, and is shown here against a clean black background with room for text on both sides and top.
