Two months after the September 11, 2001 World Trade Center attacks in New York, tourists gathered in the surrounding blocks to see the damage. Walls on buildings are covered with poems and words of remembrance along with pictures of missing people. Street vendors sell flags and play patriotic music. This man was playing the violin. Visible next to him is a wall sign that people were putting their thoughts of anger and sorrow onto.
