Jallade created a Norman-style design for the church, complete with an authentic stone roof imported from an old tithe barn in England. Construction lasted from 1923 to 1927 on what was to be "the architectural gemstone" of the community.Mariemont is a planned community village in Hamilton County, Ohio and in 2007, the village was designated a National Historic Landmark.
